Fresh Catch Fish Co. is seeking an experienced salesperson with seafood knowledge. Prior sales experience required. You must be well-spoken and have a neat appearance.

As a sales associate you will be the face of Fresh Catch for everyone who visits our store. You will oversee the daily operations of the store and assist customers with their purchases. Fresh Catch Fish Co. sells and is known for its high-quality seafood, prime steaks, hand-crafted sausages and prepared meals. We carry more species of fish than any local retailer.

As the sales associate you’re not just selling. You are also making sure the store is always fully stocked and looking its best.

Key Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

· Perform opening and closing duties

· Provide an excellent customer experience (in person and on the phone)

· Answer product questions

· Assist customers with purchasing decisions and provide recommendations to increase each sale

· Properly stock, rotate and store products to ensure freshness and date control

· Ensure accuracy of signs

· Order supplies and stock

· Price merchandise correctly

· Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

· Accept & verify accuracy of deliveries

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Background & Qualifications:

• Prior retail sales experience (min 1 yr)high school diploma or GED
• good interpersonal & communication skills
• ability to work independently and as a team
• acceptable background check and drug screen
• Mature person with strong work ethics
• High standards of integrity
• Knowledge of proper food handling
• Exceptional Customer Service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
